The single drum rotary dryer is a kind of drying equipment in mineral industry.

Structure

The dryer is mainly composed of the front and rear idler device of the cylinder device, the feeding and discharging device, the transmission device and the gear cover. (Auxiliary equipment matched with the dryer: combustion chamber, feeding and discharging equipment, dust collection equipment, etc.)

Working Principle

The material enters the cylinder from the feeding box and the feeding material is pushed backward by the spiral plate. As the dryer is placed obliquely, the material flows to the rear end under the action of gravity and rotation. On the other hand, the material lifting plate is repeatedly picked up, brought to the upper end and then continuously sown down, so that the material forms a uniform curtain in the cylinder, and fully exchanges heat with the hot air flow in the cylinder. The moisture is gradually dried and the purpose of drying is achieved.
